view

This is the view from our living room window. The orange building in the upper right is the City Library, which according to our guide book is one of the most architecturally significant buildings in Stockholm.

Interesting architecture. How old is your building?

I thought...Great the library is so close! Then I wondered how much of the children's selection was in English anyway?

I'm sure the girls will learn some Swedish.

We found the children's section right away ... they have a number of books in different languages, including English. The Trondheim library had a much better selection of English books. Anna's idea was to get some Swedish baby books so that we could learn Swedish ... you know, the kind that have one picture/one word per page.

What a GREAT idea Anna! It's brilliant! You'll all have fun with it.

How's it going without Whole Foods? A nearby fish market perhaps?

I found a Google Earth placemark for the Stockholm public library on Wikipedia. If you zoom in and tilt you will see a 3D rendering of the building...
