The observatory is on a hill right across the street from us (behind the library). Here's a good picture of the library; behind it is our apartment -- the beige building with the black roof. As you can see, the weather has been nice and there were good views from Observatory Hill.

Yes, Stockholm is a pretty clean city but like any urban area you do see graffiti and litter; some of the buildings could use a good paint job. I saw a couple of panhandlers but nothing like you'd see in Berkeley.
We have discovered a couple of city buses and the trolley but mostly we have been on foot. The girls are getting pretty good at walking long distances (though there is often a bribe of ice cream involved!).
What pictures! It's wonderful to be able to see the landscape you are experiencing. Fun to see the girls enjoying it.
Perhaps sometime Leah will take some of you and KW? I know what a great little photographer she is.
